Time scale for DMP with CCCS?

Soo I found out about CCCS through you lovely guys....I sent off the paperwork today, so I was just wondering whether there's any sort of time frame? Do they contact me once they've received it? Do I not hear anything until they've contacted my creditors?

Any ideas/experiences would be great!

If I recall, my DMP with CCCS was set up fairly quickly. I sent off all my paperwork in the January and made my first payment in the February. I can't recall whether CCCS contacted me or not tbh as it was 5 years ago that I started mine. If I recall correctly, some creditors contacted me saying that they were either accepting my DMP or not so I don't think I heard from CCCS after I sent off the paper work.

    Good luck.

It's the best thing I ever did. You'll still get letters from creditors for a while but just keep reminding them that CCCS is dealing with your case from now on. CCCS rarely write to you, you'll be contacted once a year to sort out an updated I&E. CCCS will take your first payment fairly quick, mine is on the 1st of each month.

    Good luck
