I am a seperated mum to two boys and pregnant with my third ( hubby and i hae seperated at the beginning of last yr but it was nly 3/4 months ago, after not feeling secure with finances I needed to be feeling more secure) but I have never been somebody to rely on others ( dh was different, i gave up work to have our children but seeing as im looking at being a single mum for a period of time I need to re train asap) but technology as it is these days, I can hunt for and request information via pc.. problem being that the other end lol just email through info, not post. I need prices on paper from companys to forward to job center for training funds to be considered! They wont take me writing it down. I dont have a printer set up 24/7 only when i have lots to do I borrow from the boys dad and im not going to see him till next monday. I had an interiew with careers advisor last friday, i want to retake my forklift license test so i can work again as soon as ( i have tried agency but being 22wks pregnant kind makes them not happy with taking me on ( i was a forklift driver for over 3 yrs) so i do have experience , but i want to take test now so i have it sorted and start doing my gcses ( or nvq city and guilds equievelent (sp?) as i moved around schools alot due to messy childhood) so left with nothing. So when baby is born i can already have plans set up. Do you think im doing it the right way? should i have a different view? i just want to support my children and do the best i can given circumstances.
