Olymics Merchandise

Where the heck do you get this stuff on the cheap.
I want some official stuff. Anything really, just not 6.99 pounds for a pen.. etc..

Sainsburys have had a bit for quite some time, but it's stupidly expensive, I know it will come down in price eventually although who can say really I haven't bought much merchandise for the last 7 years or so, I used to get quite a lot, sadly people don't seem to be so bothered any more, but I got back into it with the Jubilee because it's nice to keep things and say to people in 30 years time that you've got it and they haven't! :)

Why not wait for a few weeks . shops will be full of the stuff , knocking it out at cost ( or below) price.

Ps I can promise you that nothing sold at J/S or Argos will be worth anything until you are dead and forgotten.

I suppose any official merchandise is going to be expensive (although i do have a few smaller items which was purchased from John Lewis).

But I know what you mean about wanting some 'keepsake' items. The postage on the london 2012 website is expensive. I bought a 'team GB' friendship bracklet for £12 - got it from QVC as the postage was free. Double checked on London2012 website and the cost of the item was the same. Whether after the paralympics have finished items will be discounted? but then of course, you may not get a choice of everything.

I'm a bit of a sucker for other items (although probably dont need it) but want more of a keep sake item like you. I know a lot of people are not into the olympics and couldn't give a monkey but then I'm the same about any of the football competitions whether it be world cup or the euros (it to their own).

I quite like the cut glass items but yes very expensive and not sure I really want to pay that kind of price!! I suppose as a 'Games Maker' I will have my uniform as a keepsake (again I know its not to everyone's liking...):D

I have noticed that play.com have some discounts on Olympic products and it's free delivery if you are happy to wait a few days for delivery.

Also Olympic Merchandise will be expensive right now as it's peak time for them. If you can wait until the end of the games then it will be discounts galore as they try to get rid of all remaining stock.
