Hi
i am not sure if this is the.correct place to post this but here's goes.
After checking my call credit report via noddle I noticed that there was a default from hsbc for almost 7500 that had been placed on my file in august 2007. On both equifax and experian this same account shows as settled (no debt and no default) in July 2007. after raising a dispute via noddle I today received a letter from noddle stating that hsbc admitted the account should be marked as settled as of 19/07/07.
My question is should i claim compensation from hsbc for having incorrect information on my credit report for almost 5 years? If so how would i go about this and what should i look to get from them?
Cheers
John
