Well I haven't posted for a while. I've lost my mojo I'm afraid to say.

No news on anyone wanting to look at our house, so time to take it off the market for a bit probably.

I've remortgaged today, going from 4% to 2.85%, which will save me £125 a month which I'll overpay.

Anyway sig all updated for end of November.

  • We have been on the market since mid October and only 2 viewings and feel much the same as you. I have stopped keeping a spending diary and things though we are still doing some OPs but not being so strict with ourselves. I will start again January.

I wondered whether we should take ours off. If truth be told there isn't a lot out there that is much better that we can afford, the things we all like are £20-30k more than ideal and I worry it may be a move for the sake of it if someone did make us an offer at the moment:(

Good new on moving your martgage though. I hope the new year is a fresh start for you ( and us!):)

Hi Fothers, thanks for the note. My Mojo still won't come back. We had a viewing last week, Mrs QBW spent 3 hrs getting the house sorted, they were here 9 minutes and that was it. Heard nothing since....

We went to view 2 on Saturday and like them both, but I couldn't get excited in our situation.

In other news!! Had a lovely day yesterday, Nativity play with my boy being a great shepherd and then a Santa canal trip. 3 more days of work and then a break - can't wait...

No but Mrs QBW is pretty good to be honest. She's got a good eye and get the place looking nice, there are a few jobs that need doing though.
