Ta pops. I just wanted somewhere I can write about the good things I'm doing. It will help focus my mind on positives rather than shoitey times.

You haven't blogged today, was beginning to wonder where you were

I have slept the day away(not deliberately just found I kept dozing off)So my meal will now be through the night when I decide what to have:p

Not much happening at present, not bothered about losing weight but am using Myfitnesspal and putting the calories into the calorie counter...think the coffee and booze is taking me to my 2,000 daily calorie intake...:D

The meals not as much though the other night the liver, bacon, onions and gravy came in at 600 calories(but I discovered it was a portion meant for two:cool:

Must eat more cereal and fruit(and salad)again...

Major news alert! I have read elsewhere that the price of tea is expected to rise by up to 25% because of crop failiure. Get your tea bags in!

It's funny at present I am drinking coffee at present(some of those little tubes/sachets with added sugar and powdered milk but I have some jars of decaff and some cappicino sweetened(sp?)in a packet which I may decaff into a storage jar eventually. Whilst I can perhaps I'll buy some of the more expensive brands/types for my store room...I don't care if I go past the best before date, I never can tell any difference in taste(same with the teabags...)

I now have more crates for the store room and am up to twelve!

I've never had liver bacon and onions. Not sure I would like it though, the smell when I cook it for Alfie pup turns my stomach. Liver is so cheap though isn't it?

It's ok, I'm trying to think how I would describe the taste Fuddle(I had not eaten it in years)I cheated though as mine was just to pop in the oven or microwave...Think it cost about £2. Is that cheaper than buying raw liver and having to cook it? Not sure...

    Found this though...

I suppose having had it, I can have it again but perhaps in a months time but it seems Vitamin A can be found in vegetables anyhow...

Been looking at those prepaid cards, just thinking how many to order and how much to load on each...

Then I would not have to spend what I get immediately and it is there for future use...months or years a head...

As long as it does not also affect HB,CTB,IS etc...will have to research a bit more...

Obviously Alfie is enjoying the liver...wonder if you have to give a small amount to animals as in humans?

    Just found this...

    Some more information here...

I have to eat less protein having kidney problems so do small portions...So I may cut my meat down still further(I'mm supposed to have a good variety of food.

I have portioned my mince out to get three meals out of one tray. Perhaps I'll make it go further and get six meals out of it...you can always add other items to bul it up like vegetables, beans etc...

Thanks pops. I take vitamin supplements so best not [STRIKE]endure[/STRIKE] :p try it.

Alfie will be ok I think, he gets a bit once every 5 days or so. Pleased I know not to give him too much though, really helpful. :)

I'm trying to work out what things will be in short supply due to poor crops. Looks like Brazil, Russia and USA are effected as well as here. I think we're in for a rough time. I had only thought about price hikes, I didn't even give a thought for shortages.

It's still bad in the States and I think food that has wheat like bread, cereals etc...might be a problem...

Generally, we still got off lightly in the UK and Europe in general. Maybe I'll do what another poster did and buy a tray of baked beans and spaghetti etc...and whilst I can get the well known brands. They'll be easy to stack on top of each other and I can avoid more crates perhaps...

Looks as though my booze can be drunk well after the date on the bottle so that's worth knowing for the future...

As I said my favourite at present is white rum but mixed with other things, Bacardi Breezer. You can drink less, make go further but enjoy the feeling...I don't mind vodka either though I am not a big drinker...

    I also tried...Carribean Twist

Think I better go and have something to eat and perhaps a coffee,
If you do decide to go to bed hope you have a restful sleep Fuddle...

Don't know what I am doing having had that major sleep during the day, I was tidying my food store at 3am yesterday morning...maybe I'll tidy the kitchen and see if I can get some rubbish into the wheelie bin for tomorrow...
