Triple Clubcard points at Tesco Direct

What's this all about?
Buy at Tesco Direct (electricals and homeware) until 1 April and you get triple Clubcard points on your spending, and it has a sale on too.
Is it worth getting the loyalty points?
Yes. Specifically because it's Tesco. Normally you receive 1 point per pound spent, here you receive 3 points - so its effectively a 3% discount.
Yet if you use the points on Tesco Clubcard deals (things like RAC membership or Alton Towers tickets), they're worth four times their face value (ie a £5 voucher is worth £20) so that means its effectively a 12% discount off the shopping.

Thanks Martin,
But, as usual with Mr T(or any retailer)READ CAREFULLY.
For example, don't think I'm interested in the Philips Black Senseo Coffee Machine, was £47.41, now only £47.37 - or the FP4111 Vitacompact Food Processor, was £79.97, now only...........£79.97.
Also, Deal of the Day doesn't activate - anyone else having this problem?
Many of these prices are in store anway, but I see a free collection store near by, so will go for the extra online points.
As always, thanks again.CAP[UK]for FREE EXPERT DEBT &BUDGET HELP:
