For those looking for something for the kids to do (or escape yourself) during the "wet" season Test Drive the Arts have just added tickets for two weekends of movies in August at the Waterfront. First weekend is Movie superheroes and the other movies through the ages. Tickets are limited; the test drive the arts is a great scheme and would recommend giving it a go.
