Mortgage advice please

Options
Due to personal circumstances we are having to downsize to shrink our mortgage, our daughter is 26 and still living with us, as she is unable to afford to buy her own home. Problem is that we are finding it impossible to find a property with enough space on the funds we have available - we were wondering if it would be possible to buy a larger place which we could convert part of for her accomodation, To do this we would still have our small mortgage and would she be allowed to take a mortgage out on the property as well to cover the difference?

Hope this make sense

You can put your daughter on the mortgae and get a larger place but then she will be a "shareholder" in the house but it could work for you
I like to give people as many choices as possible to do what I want them to. (Milton H Erickson I think)
