Electoral Forms

Am I right in thinking that you HAVE to put ALL names of the adults living at your property - whether or not they want to vote?
And if so how will that effect the credit rating of others at the property?
My point is that I have an excellent credit rating and my husband cannot get ANY credit.
Will his credit rating pull mine down if he goes on the electoral register?

You won't get financially linked by being on the same electoral registration. That only happens when you take out credit together (e.g. a mortgage or a joint bank account).
On the other side of the coin, not being on the electoral role is a big reason why people get declined credit. So adding him to the list won't change anything for you but it should make things better for him.0 -
Thanks Jimmy. We have not applied for any joint finance for that very reason. The mortgage is still in my name and we have separate bank accounts
