I'm still curious about the role of a "Mortgage Guarantor", though.
A guarantor on any financial contract underwrites liability in the event of default by the parties named on the contract. A backstop.
The guarantor will need to prove their ability to do this. By going through a thorough financial investigation.0 -
Why? Have you been a naughty boy in the way a bunch of flowers won't put right?Reasoning - I simply want to provide peace of mind for a wife who worries. It's not going to happen, but if we ever broke up she would have the house.
If that is the situation, I think you will only make things worse, because this will just be a bigger bunch of flowers.
If it is not your situation, your wife is a pathological worrier and it won't help because it is just another opportunity to worry.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
