reclaiming mortgage ppi

We had our house repossessed 16 years ago. We were miss sold ppi and when my partner was made redundant they wouldn't pay out, hence we lost our house and we had two very young children. Can we reclaim anything or is it too late for us? any help would be very grateful Thank You
