2 good things for me today

First is that I succesfully reordered my pink shoes from kurt g and had a dispatch email within 3 hours of ordering :D hopefully they'll arrive tomorrow and I can "model" both pairs for y'all

The 2nd thing is a bit more long term than a pair of shoes.

I've registered on OU to do a degree. I've had a lot of inspiration from you guys recently, an email from them this morning and for some reason, a sudden desire for my parents to see one of their children graduate. Fingers crossed I can do it. Been a long time since I did any studying, especially on that kind of scale.

    Scary stuff :eek

    Shoes and a degree. Impressive

    What is the subject?

    Well done and congratulations:T:T:T

Been reading about the problems today and they said its just gonna get worse. Shame :(

Congratulations for the shoes...looking forward to seeing them, I love shoes, tend to buy them abroad as not many, if anyone, will have the same pair as you. My sister always copies me so I 'have a thing' about always wanting something that is different.

Well done on registering with the OU :T:T....being awarded with my degree and seeing my parents so proud made all the studying worthwhile. Wishing you lots of success..:)

Just had an email from my daughter who flew to Ibiza yesterday.
As she was sunbathing in the afternoon, someone stole her iphone from her handbag which was right beside her.
She'd used the hotel email to let me know why she's not been replying to any texts I'd sent.
    Hope she's insured :(

Sorry to hear that. It makes me so :mad::mad:to hear when this happens

Hope she has insurance and has reported it stolen asap

I could not do your job.Seeing the patients leave after bad news would bring me down.

Luckily, I don't have to see them, I just talk to them on the phone. But it's horrible just the same

We do get nice patients :) they're sadly outnumbered by the "I'll shout louder so I'll get what I want anyway" brigade. Most of them are totally unjustified in that but they don't care. They don't care that we actually do have feelings and are not miracle workers. Once I had one who demanded i cancel another patient so she could be seen for a non-urgent problem.

Sorry, I got a bit carried away there!
