Had a letter from the hospital this morning regarding my hernia saying i'm on the waiting list. Rang them up to update my tel number and was told it could be up to 26 weeks :(

Possible amount of painkillers I would have taken by then going by what I have been taking for the last 5 weeks

    Paracetamol - 6 ( per day) x 7 x 26 = 1092
    Iboprufen - 4 x 7 x 26 = 728

Looking at those numbers I think I'm gonna just stop taking them, it's not as if they ease the pain much anyway.

I'll just get very drunk every day, that works :rotfl::rotfl:

Please do keep taking them. They will ease he swelling and the pain slightly and you'll be doing yourself good by keeping moving slightly.

I had a bad shoulder and was on 2 para, 2 ibuprofen, 2 aspirin, 2 codeine and then when it got worse 1 diclofenic (but dropped the ibuprofen) three times daily. I ended up in A&E crying with the pain hence the codeine and diclofenic part.

Eventually it got better and I've no doubt without the pain killers I would've done more damage and probably shot myself!

Not guilty. For the record I thought it was well argued even if I didn't agree with it completely. Chin up....move on. :)

Thanks for this - really appreciated. :A

I'm doing it wrong:o:o:oI'm buying the £2 one thats reduced from £3.37 and using the voucher so it's £1, but I like the smell and can't get the 14 washes one anywhere:(

I found the small bottles in my store today. Took 4 to the till, vouchers wouldn't scan.Lad on checkout was lovely, checkout supervisor not so lovely. Said they could only be used on the ones pictured on the voucher and wouldn't budge.

    It is everyone's perception.

But quoting figures, showing stashes, being quoted elsewhere, must surely all bring about the demise of any glitch.

There is no "results" table, so there is no need for people to state/boast.

Each to their own. I love posting my pics up.....I share info, meet people to pass items around, post out vouchers etc, why shouldn't I enjoy some plaudits when I do well. I love seeing other peoples stashes too, it gives me a good buzz to be part of a community that saves money this way.

Frankly though I'm sick to death of this whole thread at the moment. Jealousy and acrimony seem to reign supreme.

I think redfox should shut it down for a week to let people reflect and take stock of what we have here.

Let's put this one to bed now and conserve our energy for finding the best use for the Febreze coupons. x
I agree. I'm very glad people have responded to me well and some more prominent and respected members have aired their views. That's all I wanted so TY all.

Worst thing would be thread shutdown as it would force people elsewhere (and I can't get on FB at work but can MSE!) Let's all move on :D

That's one thing I do have quite a few of. I bought it in January from Lloyd's Pharmacy online sale when bottles of shampoo and conditioner were 21p BOGOF. I have been supplying my two daughters for the past six months. I sound like a shampoo dealer!

My posts were neither founded on jealousy or acrimony.

There will be a new thread due soon anyway, over 7,000 posts already.

Most of us do share information and have sent vouchers to others when we have, and others don't have.

The community support is generally very very good.
