No, there was nothing wrong with the seal. The bottle actually fell from my worktop on to the floor and smashed into pieces.
I know what chandlerscroft means.even if you don't
Take back as much of the bottle as is safe to transport and make sure you take the neck of the bottle with the cap/seal still clearly intact
They will refund/replace for you if you can show them that it broke before you opened it
They wouldn't do this if the seal around the cap was broken because it would look like you have opened the bottle, drank the contents and THEN dropped it on the floor but if the seal is still intact you should manage just fineApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

What chandlerscroft is trying to say is that you may be able to get the money back for the wine. For this to happen the seal would need to be intact on the broken bottle after it fell off the counter:)never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -
