I did my first JTD shop yesterday. Today I had a voucher for £2.57. This included 2 of the Orange Blossom 750ml Lenor. The other items that were cheaper at Asda were:

    4 pack Branston Beans T £1.27 A £1
Mr Kipling Angel Slices T £1.40 A £1 (I bought these with that £1 voucher some of us had from FB)
    Heinz Minestrone Soup T £0.85 A £0.80

I lost out on the following:
    Creamfields Semi Skim 4 pints T £1.00 A £1.18

    Thanks for everyone's help.

Oh you popped your cherry! Thank you for the update on the Lenor! As for the Branston, I always get these to build JTD vouchers. :D
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

  • I have just been thinking, Does anyone know if it would work if you brought lenor with febreze conditionor and use £1 off lenor and £1 off febreze coupons so it would be free??
  • Ok, just tried out the new 'Price Promise' website...All that effort and they still haven't managed to make the cursor move automatically to the next field...?! t2412.gif

    Just to add...
Make sure you get the right OJ with bits, they will only give you a APG voucher for 10 of the same item.
Get a few cheap items like a few carrots, onion, a few grapes.
BTW I am not saying that I have tried this today myself.

Someone please correct me if I have given the wrong infor please, I would hate to mislead anyone.

Thanks, Leenie. Don't worry, I won't blame you if it goes wrong. It's always a risk anyway.

And many congratulations on the new job. xx

I've not found any reduced cereals in all 3 S's I've been to.
I've managed to get loads of the Pantene though. It's brilliant for 50p and the shop I found the most in was the one where they had a SEL for 50p but no product details and I don't think people realised what it was for.

I have'nt bothered checking b/c's since the first shop as I know what it looks like
It's always been in with the 2 for £6 currently on offer but make sure you don't pick up the 2 in 1 dandruff shampoo by mistake.
    It's just dandruff control shampoo

I've never found any cereals either :( Don't forget to look at the Loreal shampoo's too- there are 2 varieties that are selling at 50p (one is a damage repair in an orange bottle).
    Tiger
I'm a body double for Claudia Schiffer and i wont get out of bed for less than [STRIKE]£10k per day[/STRIKE] a 1p find

Lol!! I am going to try some other flavours of the Lenor today or tomorrow. The 21 wash ones that are £2 in T but £1.50 in A. Will still be a good price if we are only paying 50p per bottle. I'll let everyone know when I have a chance to try them.

Can someone please help me? I haven't bothered with the Bavaria or the Don Simon because I have been too busy. Mr S is too far away anyway. I was thinking of giving the Don Simon thing a go today. I just need to know how many items I have to buy, whether they have to be different items and how much money I need to spend to get an APG. Many thanks.

Don't know if this has been answered yet but you need:

A Maximum of £10 return and it's 97p back per bottle so max 10 bottles. This gives you £9.70 back from £10 spend. You need to get 8 different items on your receipt though so I bought 7 different smart price items (like gravy, mustard, mint sauce, pease etc).

IssyC the Smartprice basics are great to make up the shop...some of the ones that have been comparing are

    Mixed herbs 19p
    Lemonade 18p
    Still water 17p
    Baked beans 27p
    Chopped tomatoes 31p
    Plum tomatoes 31p
    Custard 17p (ish)
    Rice pudding 12p
Sachet of custard powder 6p :j
    strawberry jam 35p
    marmalade 27p

    mushy peas 6p :j

And lots more but these are the things I've been buying.
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)
