    Morning all!

Just had a slightly interesting trip to the doctor's surgery! Went for my 3 month blood test, was sat in the waiting room and suddenly these two people come in saying I've caused an accident by not indicating before turning in!

I protested as I know I indicated and the woman who was shunted took my details once I'd come out of the appointment and we exchanged details but we agreed it was nothing to do with me and the bloke was probably just trying to blame me when it was his fault!

It's an awkward turning just after a pedestrian crossing and I did have to wait while someone crossed the road in front of the entrance but how fast was he going to shunt someone along that stretch?!

She said there had been no witnesses so I told her to check in the row of shops opposite. I did drive away wondering if I'd somehow get implicated if someone had seen something and maybe it wasn't a very intelligent suggestion but I wasn't involved so why am I sat here worrying?!

I wouldnt worry too much. The bloke was just trying to find an excuse for why it wasn't HIS fault for shunting someone at a pedestrian crossing. Poor man lolol.

:think:Was wondering last night whether other multi buys would work if compare original A price to T after price. Took me while to get head round mullers I know!

    For example
Pop 4 for £2 at both, but should work out at 30p each (A 65p intially)

Hipp baby food 6m+, 10 for £5 at both pay 17p each (A 78p initially) DD 17 and 13 so no use to me

Know not cheap as OJ and yog but may be worth watching multi buys?

I eat baby food for lunch sometimes, in fact I just had 2 jars of Heinz fruity chicken casserole its okay as long as you put some salt in it, a bit like a thick soup.

Trying to catch up but brought home a nice souvenir from the seaside a very nasty cold, can't really concentrate the words are moving about on the screen

What's that I see the other half getting the wheelbarrow ready to empty the car ha ha ha.
No ones stash nicked though ... They have been on the shelf since Friday so though if no ones taken them by now they never will.
God I'll have to find room in the shed.

I don't think we can thank op enough for this!

THANK YOU WITH BELLS AND WHISTLES AND A CHERRY ON TOP!
  • Tip for the beer:cool:

If you find empty shelves then ask a member of staff to check if they have any more. Ask them what day it is expected (remember not a guarantee!) to come in, if it's 4 or 5 days away. Ask them if there is anyway that the stock can come in sooner to the store.

You might have to make a little fuss saying each time I come in it's empty, just not good enough really.

Ask them if they could get the product "gap busted" by a manager aka get the product to the store sooner.

    Worth a try anyway :)

Goodluck folks on the beer hunt :T

***also worth ordering stock in for yourself at CS!***

JUST seen this on the tesco site....
    Bavaria Premium 2.8% Lager 4X330ml

halfprice.pngHalf Price Was £3.00 ...Valid from tomorrow...

    http://www.tesco.com/groceries/Product/Details/?id=272114645

I wonder if this is a deliberate tactic by Tesco?

We know they monitor sites like this and also monitor each other.

Imagine their chuckles as they 'force' Sainsbobs into virtually giving away beer. A case of one upmanship? ;)

I guess it means I'll have to wait a little long to post up my pic of 752 bottles :( :rotfl:

Well everyone else may be convinced that the beer price is holding after today but I am going to wait until the T price is confirmed tommorow.

I know Mr S does not use mys but on it at the moment it is showing as a matched price, £3 each.

    Mango Ice Cream

    600ml double or whipping cream
400g can condensed milk only 50p a tin from T's:D
    1 mango pureed

Whisk the cream, with an electric whisk for speed and ease, though you can do it by hand, until soft peaks form.

Add the condensed milk to the cream and whisk again until combined. Add mango and stir through.

Tip into a suitable container - a rigid plastic box is ideal - and freeze until firm.
