In Norhern Ireland there is a town called Ballymena where everybody is sooooo tight. Can't help thinking I might be going that way too. There must be Ballymena lurkers on here. Liam Neeson comes from there.
Q. Why did the Ballymena man get double glazing installed?
A. So that his children could not hear the ice cream van!!never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

this leads me to a question...im sure i saw someone post a mango ice cream with condensed milk a few days ago,best_price wrote: »i made this today:
mango ice cream
600ml double or whipping cream
400g can condensed milk only 50p a tin from t's:d
1 mango pureed
whisk the cream, with an electric whisk for speed and ease, though you can do it by hand, until soft peaks form.
Add the condensed milk to the cream and whisk again until combined. Add mango and stir through.
Tip into a suitable container - a rigid plastic box is ideal - and freeze until firm.

Lovely conundrum to have!0 -
All my shops today were perfect.
I got in mr S 5 packs of shandy and £6 of shopping, total £21 - after BM and MOCs I paid £4 odd.
In Asda 8 OJ and 10 mullers so final total £6 odd after APG.
So after todays spent of £11 for 8 OJs, 10 Mullers, 30 shandys, pack of bacon for weekend sandwiches and a pasta bake for tonights dinner (reduced so cheaper than starting from basics) and a pack of pepperoni.
And I have just under the full BM of £10 to spend in S next time and a £11 odd one for Mr A
Result - you lot are so :A
Trouble is the fridge is now full and I think my OH would notice if I sneeked another 10 Mullers into the house“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -

And to say thank you, hers a poem that my kids have just helped me write (shamelessly adapted from 'we're going on a bear hunt) which I thought you might like...

Woooo at last got some mags with the celo on from my local T's. Only went to get some cranberry juice. I have a water infection on top of everything else now. Hopefully I have caught it early as last time I was in hospital with a kidney infection.
Hugs to those who could do with one. I certainly could at the moment.
Going to have a wander to T's tomorrow if it ever stops raining.
I never seem to post anything positive at the mo.I am a Dolphin Angel:A
