Evening,
Managed to find a few mags in St0ckton Sainsbobs, wandered round to the beer aisle and picked up three packs of bavaria, carefully tore out three vouchers from the three mags. Had to buy some other stuff too, but got my BM for £4.50.
Thanks very much to all for the info. It's curry night tomorrow, so this stuff should go down a treat.
Oooh were there any more leaflets? (she asks hopefully) we are off to the kids diy in St0ckt0n tomorrow - I didn't even know there was a sainsbobs there0 -
It was properly a youngster they don't care about other peoples stuff, i have had a conversation with my 17 yr old and he said if he found any thing like that he would not hand it him,i was appalled as i have not bought him up like that and i would hand anything and a wallet unless i found a massive bag of cash and then if they did not look after it they deserve to lose it .[/QUOTE]
Oh no:(
Haven't you seen 'Its a wonderful life'?:(
Seriously though, we haven't a clue about the person who loses something. Perhaps they have the responsibility of depositing the days/takings and as a result loses their job for not doing so.
Folk are under all kinds of pressures and can become distracted and leave treasured things in silly places when preoccupied with their thoughts
I can remember using a phone at the pub across the road, (I didn't have a land line as I had just moved out of the family home and couldn't afford to have one.). I put the purse at the top of the phone to free my hand for dialling. I left it there. I ran back as soon as I realised but it had gone.
I was sooo upset with the world. It had my rent in which needed to be paid. At the time I was pretty much living on porridge for every meal as the place I was renting was unfurnished and I moved in with nothing. I was trying to buy one item every week which meant using money that should have been for food.
I will never forget that despair and would hate the thought of it happening to anyone else.:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

must thank you DB
i was your yogurt list that i used & prompt me to take the plunge
the eton mess one compared for me too, not sure that one was one your list of flavours but took the chance:D
might go again tomorrow now i have a nice size APG
but not sure about risking the OJ again
if anyone need to make up the numbers the kettle crisps didn't compare ( got salt&pepper ones 2x £3 and some on offer at £1)dreamerbea wrote: »Oh no how awful for you - sorry i don't know about how secure they are hopefully someone will know
I put up a copy of my apg this morning - the yoghurts are 10 for £4 in A and 10 for £3 in T there is a great explanation form Quoia (sp) on coupon thread and worry-wart has also explained further back on this thread - the important bit is buy 10 - the different flavours have different barcode so count as different item so easy to get 8 different items for apg rule - the only other thing is to just check which flavours are in stock at T's on money supermarket - gosh that makes it sound complicated but it isn't hope I haven't added to any confusion0 -
no mags in celophane in my local - lots of mags on their own - no small bottles of lenor either though - wonder if they just never made it this far up north!!0

I know which one you mean its quite a big one, that one was one of the biggest until they started doing the extras and building all the larger ones outside towns.
I went to college there at booth lane, a few moons ago.:)0 -

well an expensive shop for me tonight when i popped out for the OJ glitch
had my iphone stolen:(:(:(:(:(:(
got overexcited when i saw the SA at the cashtill had overcharged me and rushed off to CS to get my £2 gift card. Left my iphone on the bit of the till where you pack, realised as we got back home, raced back and nothing been handed in. DEfo know it was there because i was carrying i around with an APG for 44p, the APG was still where i left it but the phone had obviously been swiped, Security say thier cameras lie dormant so they can't actually see anything unless they zoom in especially on someone who looks dodgy!!! Can't do this in retrospect:eek::eek::mad::mad:
worst thing is i switched the location thingy off beacuse OH has been known to follow my whereabouts in the past with prev breakups.................:(:(:(:(:(
O2 have disabled it and said not to worry about changing my email passwords etc as the 4 digit passlock is v secure, is this true?
oh well, these things are sent to test us, i truly believe once in a while when we get too comfy God sends us a little reminder to be grateful of the rest of the blessings He has given us, and indeed I have many for which I am truly complacent and ungrateful.
Lesson learned
Hope you all had a better evening than me x
So sorry to hear about this..some people are just down right evil ! Check your home / personal insurance as you may be covered.
:grouphug:If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!0 -
