I can only say the very basics of introductions, counting to 100, meet my family etc and tell you what my job is (chief lurker when I'm masquerading as a PA)

Well done for learning Spanish tigerwhite.
I tried to learn a few years ago, one class we had to go around the class asking each other how old we were. the translation in Spanish is "How many years have you?" But I was saying years wrong (anos- I think it is) and instead I asked everyone "How many bums have you?" No wonder the teacher was laughing ! :rotfl: I didn't go the next week. When I grow old, I dont want people thinking "what a sweet old lady" I want them to think
"oh carp what is she up to now!"0 -
Evening all, hope everyone is ok
Off to catch up, be back later x♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
Haha just had a shocker at Tesco, I've been out of action too long!
First of all, attempted to use the £1 voucher to but £1 Lenor, small bottle yellow/orange, till came up with 'Minimum spend not met'. Error. Thought damn, maybe they discovered this & put a minimum spend on it, fully expected to get back and find a few posts on it but seems it was just me? This was around 1 hr 15mins ago.
Anyway, told CA I'd got the wrong one and 'Oh no you don't sell the Lenor Gold, what a shame'.
Anyway, I notice they're whoopsi'n slightly earlier than usual so had a look. Those Indian 3 for £6 / 5 for £10 where there, ten in total, picked up 5 but got my maths badly wrong! Here's me thinking I'd make a profit of 50p on them (whoopsied to 40p/each) picked up some whoopsied burgers, went to SS and crashed the system! It only went and took £3.50 off instead of £2.50 that I thought. Disaster!
Luckily CA weren't the brightest and looked all confused, told me to use a proper till.. Pff, dilemma as I only had £3.20 on me. Which meant if I am trouted, and have to pay full (whoopsied) price I'd come up short!
Luckily I see a family member in there and I'm like.. 'Yay, let me ut my shopping with yours!' They went and got the other 5 & we all lived happily ever after with £3 off total shop & ten Indian meals.0 -

Locarr, other people have mentioned the "minumum spend not met" message with the Lenor coupons. Do the coupons mention anything about a minimum spend? If they don't, I would have looked daft (easy for me!) and stood my ground.0

Thanx nikki what an interesting read, we do on here what we can to save money. Many familys are living below the bread line these days and you do what you can to make you life a little less stressful. These people that report are just people that are bitter rock on the elite you have all helped me loads i dont know what i would have done without you guys and the information shared.
To be honest, I don't think that many people even bother picking up these magazines. I think that they must throw out loads when the promotion date is over.0 -
Brand, Have you tried the coupons with Lenor @ ST@1rf00t?0
