Good luck for moving into your new gaff postcode. Do your wombling (free money)...Suss out your local stores for their whoopsie times and locate where they put them. There is no need to pay full price for meat/veg/fruit/bread. It may mean that you visit the supermarket more often but by going every other day and paying less for basic items, you do not have to pay full price for a weekly worth. This does mean I can't go and do a huge shop, though. Only the bare necessities for me, as has been for the past couple of weeks as I already knew I'd have to move sooner or later. Once I'm in my own place, though, I'll need all the moneysaving tips possible. Am hoping that my entire grocery/household product / hygienic products shop for the month will come to £100 or less. We'll see how it goes...
Also, sign up to all the voucher websites (supersavvy me, before I shop, coupon thread on here etc). Make my supermarket your friend
It is time well spent to plan shopping lists and unless it's whoopsied, ALWAYS stick to a list and budget.
Hope that doesn't sound too patronising

Silence is golden...unless you have a toddler. In that case silence is very, very suspicious!0
