This is ever so weird. I have no telephone line (BT) but my internet is still working.

We've come across that before - the internet uses different equipment in the exchange.

Have you tried taking out the filter and plugging the phone straight into the socket to make sure it is not the filter?

No way I am catching up tonight - 400 posts to read and I am pooped. Early start today, done 6 jobs from the opposite side of London to closer to home and really cannot read anymore than a simple jog to keep up!

    Communications update:

My BT Landline is working but I was trying to ring my husband but he is on Tesco Mobile which isn't working.

BBC news web site is still down (I've given it some Prozac so hopefully it will be okay soon).

It went from 35 to 15 in the time it took me to sign in and vote cold. Can we get it to minus?
It's a shame though as the OP obviously took the time, and it is a hot deal.

    It's only a game
