    Hello everyone.

I'll post like Fudge_Cake (what a kind lady) with a few names.

To all of you, thank you for all the kind words and suggestions about my problems. I'll try not to makes this too long, but I have to say you guys are geniuses. I save so much money with all your help.

Thank you TrulyMadly for reminding me I had to post.

Snap-ant: No offence was taken by your post about the quiz. It's a great bit of fun each day and I don't take it too seriously. I just try and go as fast as i can. If I ever beat 20 seconds I'll retire. :rotfl:

To everyone who posted nice PMs offering advice and kind words, thank you so much. All your suggestions helped. I'm sorry I didn't reply to them all, I had dozens.

To everyone who posted not so nice PMs, especially about the quiz... GET STUFFED! :p:p

To those who asked by PM who the nasties were, let me say none of them were regular Elite 11+ guys; nor were they people who played the quiz either. It just shows that there are many more (trouble-making) lurkers on here than you would think.

Finally, 76rosie, thank you, thank you, thank you, you are brilliant and one suggestion you posted has turned my life upside down, very quickly. You said:

I spoke to my neighbour (rich guy, own business) through the wall about hopping on his wi-fi for a bit and all sorts of things happened at once.

He told me he and his lovely OH had been thinking of offering some help for a while, but knew i was a proud guy (true ) and maybe would see any offer of help as charity (false).

Anyway, first we set me up on his wireless net = happy kids, and ...

he offered me a job, working for him. I've done his accounts and a lot of his admin/computer stuff many times in the past when he's been very busy and because he's managed to expand the business was looking for someone full time to manage the admin side. His wife currently does it part-time (young family) and can't really cope with it full-time so he's offered the job to me. Money's not what I was on, but is better than benefits and at my age I'm not complaining. :)

I start today, so wish me luck.

    Ceriain :A

PS. Thanks again, all of you. :T
PPS. motherbear, thank you for the kind offer. I'm sorry I never got back to you personally, your message got lost in among all the PMs I got.

:j:jWoohoo, well done Ceriain I'm so pleased for you :j

Question hope there is some computer people around im buying a laptop it is windows 7 and i can upgrade to windows 8 pro for 14.99 as a special offer does anyone know if pro 8 is any good? I need to to be able to use coupon printer and everything so wondered if anyone knew if it was anygood going to get laptop this afternoon xx

It's a load of Hype. Windows XP is still the most stable and reliable windows platform out there. Don't pay the £15 extra for Win8 - all beta reviews describe it as horrid (in the main). I'd get it with the base Win 7 and you'll be fine.
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

    MMW,
I have spoke to him about the twizzzy, they say it does 62 miles per charge but he said more like 50-55 esp if you need heater on, wipers , lights etc.
Best to charge at NCP at the mo cause parking and charge is free, but didnt really say how much it costs to charge at home but charges at 10 amp or 2 1/2 kw? thats all over my head! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Shopping, he has had 3 large blue ikea bags in it, or a pressure washer and few bags! There is a small lockable compartment that would fit in a messanger type of bag/handbag.
Motorway cant see why not as a 125 motorbike can go on one was his reply!
Hope this helps abit, but they do love it to use now and then!

found it, thank you. i am still uhmming and ahhing at the moment. it seems so small , but very cheap. waitrose do free charges as well :p if i get one i was put it on charge there and go for a wander round the nearby park. the dealer said it cost about £3 to charge up from empty to full.
life is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.

Folkestone is my fav place we were there on Saturday, eating the lovely shellfish on the harbour.

Folkestone is a 400 mile round trip for me, Blackpool's not for me we went the other year and stayed at the new travelodge in blackpool, it had just opened by the Football stadium the Travelodge was Great, just needed moving about 50 miles away. :D:D
