Ha ha, very funny. Your poor mum being fooled by that. I've heard the story of a young apprentice working as a painter - was sent off to the local DIY/builders merchants to ask for stripy paint :rotfl:

we used to do stuff like this to new starters at work- send them to the stock room to look for a left handed spatula, get them counting ice cubes as part of inventory count, and telling them they needed to drain all the water out of coffee machines by pushing hot water button until its empty to be able to clean it (hooked up to continuous supply):rotfl:

I need a glitch on toilet rolls and kitchen towel. Just coming to the end of my supplies.

Did anyone else buy from co-op pharmacy the 6 for £5 toiletries?

I needed some as well and if you have an account with milk and more they have 9 rolls for 3.00 and it is really nice loo roll,:p

    Anyone need champers??
Laurent-Perrier Brut Non Vintage Champagne (750ml) £35.34 at A's Mysupermarket has it as £8.95

I may give this a go tomorrow as it will be easy to return if it doesnt compare :)

Doesn't the asterisk mean that it's out of stock at Tesco? In which case it won't compare :(

I sometimes wonder if the ones that are priced low and discontinued are a permanently discontinued line that just hasn't been deleted from MSM...

I didn't realise you could use more than one conditional spend in the same shop.

I think it probably depends on your choice of cashier ;)

Not sure on the answer to that, I'm just wishing that A's would hurry up and open here! :rotfl:

Speaking of, I can't seem to find a date as yet, don't suppose any of the 'Sneck posters happen to know when it shall be opening it's doors? TIA :)

I've got a little A's (used to be Focus) opening near me next Monday :):)
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

    hugely impressive haul bookworm!

can i ask how you guys get so many conditional spends? im presuming not all from wombles?
i only ever get the £5 off £40 when they where giving them to everyone. i rarely get any till spits. ive had a few more recently for 1.50 off ariel stain remover but other than that...... i could do with a little pointing in the right direction.

also where where the sainsbo cravendale coupons? have i missed something?

The conditional spends are all wombles - I've never had any either apart from the £10 off £80 that everyone had and the £5 off £40 wys £40+. I guess they think I already spend enough with them lol.

The Cravendale coupons were a FB promo which has now finished, sorry. They expired today so had to get loads... gave a few to my neighbour but the have a 3 week shelf life so shouldn't go to waste!

ETA The 50p Sainsbury's Cravendale coupons were in the free Sainsbury's magazine last month. This month I think there is another coupon for the 2L bottles, so stock up ;)
