RootedNomad wrote: »are you a CC points collector? And do either of your DS's like gaming. In T there is a pre-order pack/box for COD II and it costs £5. You get 500 CC points and a free COD T shirt, and then you still get the £5 off the game when it comes out in the autumn. Amazing deal - I would be happy to pay the £5 for the 500 points alone as I use these on double-up or deals at 3x or 4x. Think the offer ends today, but it is an excellent deal and very useful way of using up CS coupons. Not sure if there are any rules about how many you can get but you could buy 4 for £17 and get 2000 points!
Thanks for this, I'm gonna pop down to my local and pre-order 3 copies
Tesco are usually one of the cheapest on CoD games or do good deals when you buy points etc.0 -
Hi Jumblejack, do you have a good recipe for elderflower cordial?
We have loads locally.
I made a nice one recently with Richard Mabeys recipe:
1 lemon zested and sliced
1oz citric acid
2lb sugar
10 flower heads
750ml water
Dissolve the sugar in a pan. Allow to cool.
Add zest, lemon slices, citric acid and flowers.
Leave for 24hrs occasionally stirring.
Sieve through a tea towel and pour into clean bottles.
Keeps for 6 months apparently if you can leave it that long;)

If you want something you can eat the moment you bring the elderflower heads home try these:
Elderflower fritters.....
The most pleasant thing you could eat ready in 2 mins
In a bowl, mix 4tbsp flour with an egg and 1.5 cups of water to make a runny batter.
Get a pan of oil hot.
Holding the flower by the stem (using kitchen gloves) immerse the flower into the batter and shake off excess.
Immerse it in the oil for a couple of seconds.
Shake off oil.
Still holding it by the stem, immerse it into a shallow saucer of sugar.
Shake off excess and pop it into your mouth immediately.
Triple yummy!!!!!!:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Went to T this morning to get phone credit etc and also 3 grape juice, my last 3 vouchers and 2 razors - nice till girl took all of my conditional spends so fianlly I ahve none left and dont need to spend vast ammounts and do complicated sums In T anymore!
Then went to the new neros which opened yesterday. I has one complete loyalty card so only had to pay for OHs coffee. While we were there we completed a survey card and got another card for free coffee next week!
Also yesterday receipt came back and I got the right razors yesterday :T“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
