Evening all, just got back from a party and I'd stupidly forgot I told my dad if he wanted a drink I'd drive him to work tomorrow, thinking he was working 11-4 but no they've changed him to 8-12 so I've got to get up at 7am

Had such a busy day today, spend a small fortune birthday shopping with my daughter and then bowling! OMG the price of bowling has gone up a lot!! i nearly had a fit lol:eek:

My DD is now a teenager :eek::eek::T:T:T:eek::eek:, she wanted me to let her stay up so she could say it was her birthday at midnight lol:D

Im off now to blow up lots of balloons and stick up the banners, before i go im sending huge hugs to Fudge_cake hope you have a better day tomorrow xxxxxxxxx

No problems stockpiling either - I had about 30 roll-ons at one time and they were all fine, lasted quite a while too ! Have you found a bargain then ?

Hugs to every one that needs them - Nahteb sounds like you had a better day today Brill. . Have not had a chance to catch up still working my way backwards so hope everyone is okay.
Just thought that I would say that if you are in Boots have a look in their reduced section.

Yesterday I popped into my local Boots and they had a load of different size photo frames in their sale. They had 2 of a type that I really liked but one was priced at £4 and one at £2.75 so you can guess which one I put in my basket. But when I got to the till the frame scanned at £1.37 - wow so I went back for the other one. The very nice shop assistant said - that will be £4 before she put it through the till, I said oh can you scan it for me - she did and it was £1.37 - she was really shocked but was really nice and said that I had got a bargain. The name of the one I got was Capri but there were loads of frames left and loads of large photo albums. I dont think that this is just my local given the amount that was there. Hope someone else is lucky too. Will try to post the bar code if that helps anyone.

Whoopsy time at Mr A's was manic. I got there just as the lady was taking things out the back to mark down again . I decided to wait as she had taken a fair amount of meat so thought I would see if I was lucky. There were a couple of others waiting and we chatted and passed the time. As the stuff started to come out we shared it out very civil, discussing cooking tips and what could be freezed etc. We even swapped bargains that we had got in other sections. Then the rudest man ever came along and started shouting. Saying that we should let someone else have a go, the old lady that I had been talking too got pushed out of the way, I knew that she had said that she was hoping for some frying steak for her hubbie, so when I spotted some I grabbed it for her. Not usually what I do but given that she had been pushed out I thought that she should have it. As I passed it to her the man grabbed it. Unbelieveable! He then started shouting the odds. I just left, I know that you should not let bullies get their own way but I had my daughter with me and I did not want her to hear his abuse. I had managed to get a couple of packs of pork mince and a few bits for the week so was happy with that but I later saw him at the tills and he had a whole trolley full of whoopsies. Unbelievable. I am all for people to get a bargain but do we really have to forget our manners.
It has got worse in my local Mr a's in the last month or so, have not really wanted to join the scrum and only stayed as I seemed to be there at the right time.
