Off to catch up on all today's posts as it's been a long day. Had Dads club breakfast this morning, then Messy Church (even though I'm an Atheist) then DD wanted a christmas dinner for her birthday so was cooking that and running around to Tesco.

My "friend" was on the till so got two of the large suitcases, load of shopping, couple of bottles of whiskey to bribe my dad for painting the house and some other bits - total before vouchers = £317. I won't tell you what it was after! :D

I shall be back presently after reading.

All those wanting the 50 books, I should have sent you an e-mail by now. Apologies if I missed you, PM me again.

Thank you also to OP regarding 500 extra CC points on HP printing inks. I needed black & colour so this prompted me to buy them :D:D

    Mortgage-free Glee!
My son turned 20 two weeks ago and is now working full time. I have no idea where that time went but trust me it did. And he doesnt say oh mum remember that meal we had or that toy we bought. He remembers the time spent.
The snowman making the walking on the beach. Playing nintendo together and me cheating cause he was better. Dancing and singing. Him playing his guitar to me and me goung to see his heavy metal band play, my insides were scrambled.

So go enjoy wee Freddie cause blink and he will be a man honey xxxx big hugs xxxx

Hello everyone, hope everyone is well. Have hardly been on here at all recently, been busy job hunting and have finally found something and start my induction on mon. Hurrrahh!
It is at a sainsbobs local and I have 3 4hour shifts wed thurs fri 11am-3pm. Ideal for me as it is next to the pre schl/schl ds will be starting and will only need 1.5hrs childcare a day which my parents have kindly offered to cover.

Since getting pregnant, I have spent so much time on the internet searching for money saving tips/ways to raise cash meaning I could stay at home with DS, but I think I've come to the point (espesh with DS starting pre schl) where I have realised I don't want to spend 2/3hrs a day doing surveys/looking at ways to scrimp and save/applying for freebies and trials - I am sure most of us in this thread have done everything they could possibly do to save cash...and you get to the point where you can't cut any more corners and I think working is my only option.

I sort of want to go into work, come out and then be able to spend time with DS, quality time. not worry about having to get to the computer to go onto onepoll/freebie sites/here. He will only be little once and I sometimes feel like I am spending his most precious years being stuck infront of a screen whilst he watches telly (shame on me!). I keep reminding myself its not the cheap food/toys etc I get him that will matter when hes 18, it is the love, time, and attention I give him now. Saying this I don't mean to offend people - but I am the sort of person that gets addicted to this type of site and become determined to do everything possible to save cash, loosing site of why I am doing it.

Will still post every so often but won't be around nearly as much as feel I need to focus on freddie and enjoying these years with him because they will be gone before I know it. Have learnt so many things that I won't forget on this forum as well as the general mse site, it is such a fantasic place and really has helped me through some dark financial times. It is actually incredible and has me in awe how some people on here manage to stretch such a small amount of money - it is possible for everyone, no matter salary or background, to make their money work for them and to get as much out of it as possible. I can't believe how naieve I was about money 4 years ago - it is amazing what tough times teach you.

Hope you are all continuing to make as much ££ as poss from mr t's (rest assured I will not stop taking advantage of mrs t's generosity!!);):rotfl:

Thankyou for all being so kind to me, and will come on to update soon (will also post if I ever come across any t's bargains!!):)

    xx

Angry Birds Seasons for ipad/ iphone is currently FREE in the App store.

Full version in HD. This is a short term offer, usually only lasts a few days.

Download both versions as they stay on your account, even if you dont have an ipad/iphone.
