Easter Egg Hunt-On a Budget

I there everyone, I apologise if anything similar has already been posted- i did a search for easter but thousands of unrelated stuff came up lol:o
Thing is, I've got my niece and nephew coming to stay the week before easter and my niece has asked if we can do an easter egg hunt- there will be 7 kids coming in total- ages 2(three of them), 3, 6, 10 and 11.
im totally stuck for ideas of what to get on a budget-i dont just want chocolate cos the little ones will be sick everywhere.
so any ideas on little gifties and where to get them would be brilliant. we're on a strict budget as my partner has had to give up work to care for me and our little one.
also where can we get the cheapest easter eggs??? im not really bothered about them being in posh boxes or being brand-names as they're just gonna be spread all around the garden anyway! most of the supermarkets are spread out in my area so id like to know where to go first cos they're all so far to go(im out in the country) we dont have an asda within 40 miles so the eggs for £1 are out unfortunately! does anyone know what they've got at aldi or lidl at the moment???
thanks in advance for any help and ideas!

Aldi and lidl always have some cheap little eggs, there chocolate is usually pretty good too.
If you have a home bargains near you ,they always seem to have rabbit shaped quality lindt chocolate, really cheap.
Maybe you could boil them all an egg(or blow them if you can be bothered) and have a little competion for decorating,a few paints and sequins etc.and get the winner a bigger egg.or if this wouldn't be fair, bet one big egg for all to share and little mini ones to find.
My mum made us all some sweet little bunny finger puppets, which were very effective and virtually free.You/they could also make some little bags, baskets.
And the pound shops sell boxes of those little fluffy chicks.0 -

Poundland usually do small plastic eggs that you can hide - or you could draw some on paper and the children exchange their 'tokens' at the end or you could hide those little chicks that Poundland sell - so cheeeapp!!!0

Lidl is great - they've got some great little eggs and they even have some little chocolate cars - about 69p for what looks like around 8 of them (100g).What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

Egg painting is the best, i loved doing that! All you need to do it get little tiny metalic eggs, hide them as hard as you can and make them find them, Then they get to eat the little eggs, and the winner can have a small bunny or something?
Could make a easter cake or buns?0 -
TOP MONEYSAVING TIP
Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!0 -

I bought a few different packs from Lidl last year, then gave my 2 DS a card with drawings and the amount of each shape. I had cars, mini rabbits, a large rabbit each and small eggs. Think I spent about £5 in total and they had great fun trying to find all the ones on their lists. I didn't want to do an all out hunt to save fights -so they just went down their lists. We didn't get them an egg, just the hunt, so saved a bit there. No Longer addicted to Boots! - Well not today anyway!! :blushing:
