Hi does anyone know if its possible to pay Santander Collections by standing order. I rang them and was told they will only accept cheques. All my other creditors have account numbers and sort codes etc. Are they just being awkward??

The loans were originally with Alliance and Leicester and Cahoot. Just moved from a DMP with Moneyplus to working with CCCS. they have proved excellent so far. Because CCCS have suggested offering a token £1 payment, raising cheques would seem pointless?0 -
I have a loan with Cahoot that I pay using sort code and account number. Also saves a stamp. Maybe check with CCCS?:beer:0

Thanks I will contact CCCS,however,I according to them also pay by postal order. Stupid question does your original Cahoot documentation include payment info and is it still relevant since the Santander aquisition0 -
No idea what the agreement says. Once in collections they normally accept anything, even credit cards.
Was it a Cahoot fixed loan or flexi loan?
Also as a side note. Can you claim any PPI back?:beer:0 -

Its a fixed loan and as far as PPI I have been warned away as any new income can raise the interest of the creditors to chase for a higher repayment figure....or so i have been told!0 -
Or the PPI an be wiped off the balance. Ask on the PPI forum
Good luck:beer:0
