Cillit Bang Cleaner @ 99p Stores

Hiya

I also went to the 99p Store in Wellingborough today and bought 2 tubs of Cillit Bang Cleaner for 99p each.

On getting home i looked and it has 20% free so it is 1000g instead of the usual 500g.

I checked it against the tub i bought from somewhere else and is exactly the same except the one from 99p store is written in a different language.

I'm sure I paid about £3 - £4 for the 500g tub - so I will be going back and getting some more. I have copied the info I found on the internet below of what all the uses are.

Also if your interested I've have included a good (well i thought it was good:dance:) link below regarding the advert for cillit bang. Lets

Cillit Bang Universal Power Cleaning Crystals
New Cillit Bang Universal Power Cleaning Crystals is a non-abrasive, quick dissolving formula that simply cuts through the toughest problems like soap scum, scuff marks and baked on grease.
Use it concentrated or diluted to vary the cleaning power to the task at hand. Use it on all types of dirt all over your home.

Dissolve 2 scoops in a bucket containing 5 litres of warm water (max 40C) and use the solution to clean away. Or, place it neat on surfaces, add a little water, and watch the foaming action shift difficult dirt and stains. The powder can also be placed directly onto a damp cloth for targeted use on tough to reach areas. Always rinse surfaces thoroughly after use. Make sure you always test on an inconspicuous area first to ensure compatibility with the surface.

Suitable for:
Floors
Countertops
Work surfaces

Draining boards
Garden furniture
Ceramic tiles
Glass

Not suitable for:

Sorry i was just writing what it says on the tub:-
    " %20 BEDAVA "

Which i assumed was 20 % free as it on a different coloured background to the rest of writing and then I compared the amount (1000g) to my tub in cupboard which is 500g and the info i found on the cillit bang website which also said 500g tubs.

Sorry if i have assummed wrong but it is in a different langauge and i dont know what "BEDAVA" means ???

It is still a great bargain - dont ya think ? ?

It seems 'bedava' is Turkish for 'Free' so looks like you're right.

    (Google is my friend)

    Great ad, onredbull.
And if I was more ambitious, I too would be aiming to declutter my bedroom and kitchen by Easter! :o

I did sort of start it during January (During school hrs and term time) but had a good start in january but then there was the snow before half term when nursery was closed, then half term and then the week after my iccle 1 got chicken pox so was off another 2 weeks (= A month off nursery in total)

And as much as he tries to help when im tring to climb up step ladder to clean top of cupboards - he is right behind me (age 4) also trying to clean (make dirty.)

I am doing ok as i have de-cluttered quite a lot from both rooms -:T
Except the stuff i have taken out of kitchen & bedroom, is now most in piles & boxes in front room - so i am sort of getting there but may have to change deadline.

    Thanks.

Cillit Bang and Barry Scott will forever stick in my mind. Not because if the adverts or this remix video but because of
this marketing faux pas where the fictional Barry Scott posted a 'condolences' message on someone's blog, linking back to his own adverblog. Clearly it wasn't the same guy who plays him in the adverts, but it was a fantastically marketing decision.

We tried it on the aluminium jet things on a cooker and it made a right mess, it took the shine off the aluminium and it wont go back to gleaming. I wouldn't go near that stuff again
