Clutching at straws

Hello Everyone.

Was just a wee question regarding the deposit.
Is it possible that say for talking sake a house valued at £100k was for sale. I put in a cheeky wee offer of £90k.
The house is valued at £100k so can the £10k difference not be used as a deposit? Or am I completely barking up the wrong tree..... :o

Cheers

The value is whatever is paid. So you cannot use any difference between the two as a deposit.
