I have a Fudge pony and stable reserved 40 mins away, £24.99. Is it worth me going and collecting for my granddaughter for Christmas? She will be just 3 by then. You all seem to think it's good but is it really worth the journey?? Come on make my mind up for me! :D

I would be another vote for going for it! I managed to get my bro to collect one for me as there were none in stock near me - he has said the dress up kit came with it too - which makes it more of a bargain! My little girl will be very nearly 3 when she gets it for Christmas, but I can't wait to give it to her! I haven't actually seen it yet (it's still miles & miles away) but my bro has said it looks good quality! Would also be interested to hear from anyone who has actually had a look through the box on their opinions of the horse especially! I literally can't wait to get my hands on it! I think I may struggle to keep it for Christmas!!

I am having the same dilemma about the Fur Real Go Go Pup - I have managed to reserve one, but will be about a half hour journey to get it (don't actually even really know where the shop is) but I'm in 2 minds as some people on here haven't really rated it, but the reviews on the website & the video I've seen of it look good.... I have until Monday to decide.... I think if it was my local store I would definitely get it, but the train journey and the fact I'm not really sure of where I'm going are putting me off! Anyone who has bought one recently - would it be worth it for a 3 year old? TIA!x

Not if it's even loosely related to Fluffy go Walkies..... Fluffy walked to the tip a couple of weeks after arriving at our house!

All these 'cuddly' things with battery packs are not really very cuddly, the have hard limbs (or they wouldn't be able to 'walk') and great lumps of battery in their tums!

Barbapapa - she has a scuttlebug and a scooter and loves them both, especially the scooter. I've just bought her a bike as an early birthday present as she lives in another country and it will stay here as she couldn't ride it where they live. Hence wondering about the pony, which I know she will really love, and I suppose depending on the weight I could take over there or leave it here!
  • Drat and bother........the nearest Pony to me in 101 miles away in Chesterfield!!! What a shame, I am heading up there a week on Sunday but don't suppose Argos will extend the reservation that long will they?
  • i have a reservation for a fudge and stable set in Stirling , to be collected by Monday 9th if anyone wants it, i got one more local that was not collected
Thanks to all comp posters x

Found this review online. Food for thought! Again!

"We brought this for our 4yr old's b,day after moaning for it for months. What can I say. What a waste of money. It is way too small for a child over 3yrs. I would say it's for 18months to 3yrs. The stable is way too small it's a tent cut in half and the pony she carry under one arm no problem. I was gutted when we put it up. If my daughter didn't want it so much I would have took it back to the shops. Save your money and just go buy a normal tent and toy pony. I used the 20% off and I'm still Gutted"

I say go get it. They're quite substantial for the price imo. That review will be based on more expensive price, even if it was bought when fudge was £66.66, with 20% she would have still paid more than £53 but for £25 I think you are gonna be one cool granny at christmas time.

I think the outfit is meant to be in them as it is shown on the things you can do on the side.

It definitely is. Plus in a week when she stops playing with it her parents can sell it behind your back for profit, so either way a bonus for them.
But seriously looks really good for £25, and Evie is getting hers for Christmas!

Thank you - have decided to leave it. Little one is really chesty & have decided it's not worth dragging her out in the pouring rain, on & off trains & buses if I'm not 100% sure. So if anyone wants a reservation code for one of the Fur Real Pups - in the Bromley Mall store - for collection today or tomorrow - let me know!x

Been and come back. Not as big as I anticipated. Opened it and sitting on the top in an unopened box was the riding kit. So just for that I thnk it was worth it. I also picked up the multifunctional table - 365-2912 - £14.99 whilst I was there. Looks pretty good with quite a variation of extras with it. So what with these two plus the Mamas & Papas Pilko pushchair I bought earlier in the week and the Glo Worm I think my spending is OVER! :)

    384/6821 - Strawberry stables set
If anyone can get to Old Street, London EC1 by tomorrow afternoon there is the above Fudge horse and stable reserved there, pm me for the reservation number.

Thanks for your help everyone :).
