I don't think it's HD Ready? There's a top spec (HD Ready) LG for that price on HUKD, actually.

Currys have the DA model for sale online for £750.
  • My elderly parents are interested in this, they aren't interested in HD as they couldnt afford the set up costs and subscription. Is it ok other than it's not HD ready, does it have Freeview? 21 pound in club card vouchers makes it 683 pounds inc delivery. Apologies, I have lost my pound sign????
  • I'm a bit dim when it comes to tuners, this has a digital tuner, what is that exactly?

If you are considering getting the Tesco one then it really is a false economy, it has a lot lower resoloution so the picture quality wont be as good
  • My parents are in their late 70's and will be delighted with it TBH. There is always better I agree and while I would shop around for a better spec they are looking for what they can get for a certain price. I have seen a similar better model but it was another 100 and this is out of their price range. .Thanks anyway.
