Wireless tickets!

Yay. My first win in ages, Wireless festival tickets for the Sunday, I'm really excited. Only one problem, daughter is adamant she is coming with us and I know I sound a wuss but don't want to take her on my own without the husband.

I'm not really familiar with festival type concerts, does anyone know will people be selling tickets outside the venue? or will they just be a rip-off anyway? Obviously I've entered every other comp I can see to try and win one.. really unsure what to do if not.

Yes there will be touts selling tickets but may be expensive.

I think you and your daughter wiil be fine without your husband. These concerts in Hyde Park are well stewarded and I would regard them as "safe" concerts.

Thanks bishopsgirl, I feel a bit more confident about it now.

I did have a quick look on ebay but it would be my luck to pick the one dodgy seller or for it not to turn up on time.

You should have a great time. Try not to worry. I have been to a couple in Hyde Park and had a great time.

They do seem to close Hyde Park tube station at the end of the concert and you have to walk to Victoria. They do this to avoid a crush at Hyde Park tube. Just mentioned this in case you want to plan your journey.

If you are taking the car there is a underground car park which if you can book online is only £8 for the Sunday. It is only 5 mins walk from the concert. If you need details let me know and I will look them out for you.

    Well done on your win!

I've been trying to win some for Saturday or Sunday. No luck... yet.

How old is your daughter? You should be fine. I've been to wireless twice. Great event, good vibes, helpful staff e.t.c.

Yes please bishopsgirl, if you have the details on that underground car park that would be brilliant. I will try and get that booked.

She's 12, simply_tash. She'll absolutely love it, would be a shame for her to miss out, it's not like her dad's all that interested in Rihanna etc.

Here you go it looks as if it has gone up to £9- sorry, however I did pretend to book and it came up as £8.

Look on google maps to pin point exactly were it is as it is a tricky little turn to get in if you do not know where you are going.

    Your daughter wii love it.

If I can be more help feel free to PM me.
