Dispute Bailiffs charges?

I recently attempted to have a CCJ judgement Set Aside. It failed, however the judge told me that the bailiffs fees I had been charged looked a little steep and told me to request evidence of all the things they had charged me for. For example, they had put Inventory fee, Removal Fee etc. The CCJ is joint with an ex partner. He assured last year that the bailiffs had not been to his address. They have not been to mine either so where exactly did they go to carry out these 'Fees'.
This is why the Judge told me to dispute the charges. So, I weent straight home and fired off an email to the Bailiffs asking for evidence. This was nearly 2 weeks ago now and although I have sent a reminder, I have heard nothing.

Can anyone advise me how to get a response? Is there a procedure, a template letter or anything? I still owe them over £700 so I want to get this sorted before I hand over the full balance as getting money back off them if I then dispute the costs would, I imagine , be nigh on impossible.

I would really appreciate any advice as I want to settle this CCJ and get it off my worry list as soon as possible but the thought of paying them more than I need to, really makes me seethe.:mad::mad:

Thank you very much for your reply. I have used one of the templates on the site you recommended. Just need to wait for the response (if any) now.

I have serached many times for help with bailiffs and have never come across that particular site, but having seen similar templates on MSE I knew it must be out there somewhere. Thank you for your help. :)

Any advice anyone? Is it worth pursuing a refund or shall I just pay and have done with it?
