I want to buy a good set of pans

I want to buy a set of 4 pans (ranging from milk pan to v large pan).
I am willing to pay up what I need to pay, but I really do not know what to get.
I really like cooking, and so they will be used every day, and I want them to last so I need something good quality.
I would appreciate any tips.

Meyer Anolon profesional.
There is a 5 pack for about £100 you can google for it. e.g. link. I think I saw them in House of Fraser sales recently.
They are fantastic. Easily the most resilient pans I have ever used and we cook every day.
(forgot to add we cook on gas)0 -

I got these from HOF for £100 with a free skillet 2 years ago now, we abuse them to bits but they just keep going, the large flat pan lid did explode like bus stop glass when I put it on my draining board, but it made my waters break and they just sent me a new lid no fuss, they had never heard of it happening before but I think it was us taking them from the heat and dropping them in water for 2 years. We also buy le cruset, I have a big pot and a frying pan from them but they are heavy and I will need to add bits one at a time due to price, but they will never need replaced.0 -
Hi
I'm on my second set of Tefal Resistal. My first set lasted 10 years and were still going strong when they went to university with my eldest son. The 2nd set now are 5 years old and still going strong ( I just stick them in the dishwasher, the outsides are a little scratched but the coatings are fine. I tend to replace the frying pan every couple of years usually at pancake time.
They are not cheap but not madly expensive and as you see they last really well.

I have had these now for about a year and wouldn't be without them. They are non-stick, metal utensil safe, can go in oven up to 500 degrees. They are very versatile and easy to clean. They also come with a lifetime guarntee. I also think they are god value for money too.If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
