Debt with a bankrupt solicitor

Hi guys

I have a county court debt outstanding from quite a while back. I have contacted the court for the details and they said I need to contact the solicitors, who are Lees Lloyd Whitley

These guys shut down in 2009 -I cant post links as a newbie but google this "law-firm-bankruptcies-predicted-lees-lloyd-whitley-closes"

What do you think has happened to my debt? I haven't received anything but the court still have it as open

Thanks

Did you owe the money to the law firm, or were the acting on behalf of a 3rd party such as a bank etc.

If it was owed direct to the law firm, then the money would be payable to the administrators dealing with the company.

Hi - no it wasn't to the firm. They were collecting the money on behalf of their client.

    Thanks.
