Hey people, wondering if someone would be able to lend a helping hand!!!
Have been looking for a new mobile contract and I came across some here at http://www.coolnewmobile.co.uk/
Now they advertise "12 months FREE line rental on a 12 month contract" with a FREE handset on many packages and networks - Example:
Sony Ericsson K610i Silver
12 months FREE line rental on a 12 month contract
on Orange Canary 40
at £40.00 per month
Handset Price: FREE
with £480.00 Cashback
@ £40.00 per month
So as I understand - You enter into a contract with Orange for 12 months on the selected tariff and you get a free phone and contract for a year with various minutes/texts included!! (After receiving the cashback)
Surely this is not the case! Sorry if I am being desperatly thick and am missing sometheing blaringly obvious!!!
Thanks in advance,
Tom

You can get similar deals from mre reputable cashback retailers such as carphone, you won't get it completely free, but you can go through Quidco and are much more likely to get your cashback making for a good deal, possibly about £100 for the year.Blitzkreig Bob says Hi to those checking his validity!0

e2save have three phones on 12 months free rental, and free phone. the catch, well you have to claim the cash back at 6 8 and 12 months. if you are organised then not a problem. Although not all customers will be. If you go through quidco, you will alos get a bonus of around £30.00 I think. Good luck0

Mr EL did E2save via Quidco and has managed to claim 2 x £80 cashback so far, next £80 is due next month. I would recommend it if you can be strict about remembering to claim the cashback 3 times a year.MFW #185

thought i got a good deal with a similar company last year, then it went insolvent half way through my contracted period, so only managed to get cash back for the first half of the period. now i only take out contract directly from network provider such as 3. it has the best deal at the moment. no cash back, just half price rental.0

A bit off topic, but does any one know if I can upgrade my tariff to a higher one on Orange and still claim back my cah back on e2save without any problems?0

I've used cashbacks for the last 4 phone contracts I've had, I've just signed up for one for 18 months with O2, totally free with cashback from Mobileshop.
Well worth it if you make sure you claim back0 -
Think it's sorted now but I've had massive problrems getting E2Save to acknowledge that I had a valid claim for cashback on a similar offer last April. Turned out in the end that CoolNewMobile had given them the wrong details for my purchase.
So ... I would add to take comprehensive screen shots of the offer and purchase details if you go ahead and buy so that you can fight your corner later if you need to.0
