Just come off my upteenth phone call with them tonight. I phoned as I wanted to up the payments to them, fine I can up the payments but they will start charging interest again. Oh thats just so helpful I up the payments each month and end up oweing more than I started with.
So now I'm stuck, I can't pay more as I'll be worse off but I want to be debt free. So I will have to find some willpower to build up the amount in savings to pay it off in a big lump later on and hope they accept it without restarting interest.

I'm on a DMP, so it's going to go into savings. I was going down the route of paying off creditors by amount owed (smallest first) so I could keep upping my payments to the bigger ones.Barclaycard 3800

Don't over pay on a DMP, keep saving into lumps.
If any of the creditors start hassling you offer them all part of the lump pro-rata then continue paying the same monthly amount as you did pre-lump (if that makes sense).
It's what Nat Debtline and CAB advised as my father has a varying incomeNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130
