Any Remington straighteners I've had have always been very good and lasted longer than I would expect so seems like a good buy! I would get a set but I ordered some Tresemme ones a couple of days ago because they were half price.

Thanks for this OP. A friend said this would not be good if you have damaged hair already, isn't it?
if you have damaged hair already i would not use these i bought them as my niece has them and they work really well for her but after a couple weeks of using not everyday i noticed the ends of my hair started breaking off and in the end i had to have my hair cut and buy new straighteners. If you have hair thats not damaged they are really good straighteners will keep my nieces unruly hair straight all day/night.

All straighteners are damaging to hair, you need to use a good heat protectant spray on first.

this is a ceramic one that's bad for your hair. Don't just look at the price, maybe you should do some research before buying serious products like this.

You should go for a Tourmaline straightener.
  • Thought ceramic straighteners were better for your hair? Why would they not be good for damaged hair - surely any heating product would be bad for damaged hair not just this one?

Have ordered these, my GHDs are long overdue for replacing, I've been thinking about getting new straighteners for a while now... look forward to trying them out!
