eon debt

basically, we had run up a debt of £218 with eon, I had the red warning letter last week and immediately paid £80 off leaving a balance of £138. I came home today to a hand delivered letter from eon stating that I have 7 days to pay my outstanding balance or they are coming to install a prepayment meter. I've paid the £138 this morning, but the letter also states i'm being charged £100 for the visit (which wasnt even prearranged with me!) At the bottom of the letter it says you now owe £138 (handwritten) which includes a £100 fee for our visit today, but thats how much I owed anyway?????

My question is basically now ive paid the £138 will they leave me alone, OR, are they still going to turn up because of this £100 fee which I can't afford to pay now as well nor do I have a bill for?? thanks in advance

Not sure what help I can be, but I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help. My advice would be to get in touch and talk to them - ask them where you stand. I've always been in regular contact with my creditors to update them on my position and it's never hurt!
