I can't find any previous threads dealing with this, but if anyone knows of any please point me in the right direction!
We've just bought a house that came with an electric cooker. As far as electric cookers go it's actually very good, but I really miss my gas hob, so in the next few months I'm hoping to replace it with a dual fuel cooker (as I prefer the electric oven for cakes!). My list of "wants" are as follows:

So does anyone have any recommendations for me?

- Must be freestanding (rather than built in) and 4 burner size rather than a 6 burner range
- Must have a wok burner
- Must have a double oven
- Absolutely must be dual fuel

So does anyone have any recommendations for me?

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere (please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com.A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

No recommendations of which brand/model to buy. But one to avoid is Stoves Newhome. Dual Fuel DF 600si
I am not at all happy with mine, the oven temperature is way out and either burns or undercooks, and the electric grill is either on or off no variables.
On the plus side the gas burners are fine.
Hope that helps0
