successful claims for very?

hi sorry not sure if this is in the right place. i was just wondering if there was anyone who was successful in claiming money back from shop direct (littlewoods, very, etc). over the past few years they have charged me £12 debt collection letter fees and £12 insufficient minimum payment fees on top of a pile of interest meaning it has just gotten worse and worse. I was advised that these default payments were unlawful and that I should put in a claim to them to get them back. I was wondering if anyone else had done this and if they were successful or not? Thanks
