AQA - Recruiting in UK again (???)

I notice that AQA appear to be recruiting in the UK once again http://www.issuebits.com/vacancies.htm

HOWEVER when I applied, I got an automated email response stating that recruitment was only currently taking place in Ireland, Australia or New Zealand.

We shall see. I hope this info is helpful to some of you.

Does anyone know if they respond if you re apply, l didnt get accepted last time, two weeks back l think.
  • The ad states they are only looking for researchers based in Ireland, Oz or NZ. Maybe they have changed it since you first looked at it.

Yes, UK was on the list this afternoon but it looks like it's since changed.

Hi BargainRizl, I think you should e-mail your details anyhow to Issuebits. I was put onto AQA by someone's post on MSE and even though they were only recruiting for Ireland, New Zealand etc I e-mailed my vital bits to them anyhow and got a reply + questionnaire/job application form back. The questions can be tricky, but there is no real time limit for the job application bit, so if you take your time you eill get them all. Can be a bit tedious but it's worth it. I got a very quick response and got up and running with them in a matter of weeks. Well worth showing initiative etc, even if they are not recruiting in UK. Be very careful with grammer, punctuation etc. Good luck!

    HI Stella,

I can give you some advice if you want. I have no idea how PMing works though. Just bear in mind that the questions are representative of the ones you will have to answer so if you find the test ones too hard you may have difficulty with 'live' questions. But PM me by all means.

See that AQA are recruiting in the UK. Ref: UK - IB/FR/UK1 Can someone advice me on what sort of thing to write in my email as i don't want to mess it up!

"and tell us why you'd be good at ending question marks. In return we'll send you more information about the position together with an application form"

    Thanks!
