Does anyone know where these can still be bought, preferably on the high street.
They were popular in the 70's.
My daughter's getting married on Saturday & it doesn't look like this weather's going to improve any time soon.

hello guys, ive just been checking the dimensions and i see they are all roughly 90cm long, so not really handbag size. This birdcage style really appeals to me, but I would prefer one which will fit in a handbag. Is it at all possible to get a dome birdcage style brolly which will fit in a handbag like the regular handbag brollies or are they simply too big an item due to the dome?0

I have never seen a dome umbrella that folds up - the stick you hold doesn't fold up like it would on a normal umbrella. I too would love to find one that does! Love this style of brolly but they are so annoying to carry it round if stops rainings/go indoors shopping or something.0
