gym memberships

On a dmp, can you have a gym membership?Having a conversation with a friend and i said i thought not cos obviously you are paying off debt not creating it. But she pointed out that it would be cheaper than paying to take kids swimming and doing zumba class twice a week.

Now confused.

We've got them, because it was cheaper and actually easier for us to budget for it as a fixed amount monthly. I seem to think there's an allowance for them on our CCCS dmp maybe?
