This was posted a few years back, but I've just found a second movie, so I didn't see any harm in giving it a bump.

If you like the Lord of the Rings, Born of Hope is an independent feature film produced by the Actors at Work Productions in the UK. Personally, I think it's very good for what it is. It's a prequel to LOTR:
