Got a text from next directory this afternoon about vip sale. So I logged into my a/c and was able to book my VIP slot for Wed 11th July at 6pm.

Having decided not to bother with the Next VIP sale this time (I'm usually frantically checking account/email for an invitation and checking on MSE for info!), this afternoon I have received 1 email and 3, yes 3, texts and got a slot from 6pm on Wednesday! I'll just have a little look.....!

And it just says registration coming soon on the vipsale bit of the website. Guess that means for a second time I wont get a slot!!

I shall be cancelling my account with next after a good 10 years of spending so much money with them. I have just called them up and asked why i did not receive an email until now and all they can say is you are not priority, but you will get an email before the 11th.

That is just a annoying since everyone knows if you don't get the first slot, you won't get much to buy online.

That should save me money every year on paying for the catalogues that end up going in to the recycle bin anyway.

I agree with you here i spent thousands on next stuff every year and i am obviously not a priority either makes me p1g sick when lots of people spend hardly any money. i am going elsewhere too in future i have the directory delivered to have a slot yet just put it straight in the bin :mad:

Jabeen_uk and Pinkladyof66 I agree with both of you. Same happened to me last year. If you are a Debenhams customer, ALL their customers receive sale previews not just the selected few but they don't care about that.:D
