What should I do with student overdraft?

Hi all..
I am hoping someone could give me a little bit of advice.
I had a student overdraft in 2006 when I was 18, along with a few other things ..phone contract and a credit card and I was awful with them. Defaulted on them all in 2007. Paid the latter 2 off in 2010. I still have this Natwest overdraft £1350 defaulted in 2008 and I haven't paid any of it because i've been paying the others off instead and to be honest I don't even have the card or any details whatsoever about it and I never get any statements or letters about it.
I've now got a phone contract, credit card and catalogue account that I pay monthly for the past year and never missed a payment.
What i'm asking is..what should I do with that 2008 default? should I start paying it? How much is it affecting my credit score? If I clear it, will it help at all or will it just be removed after 6 years?
thank you
