Credit Card Which Helps Rebulid Credit Score

Hi ya all
I want to rebulid my credit score and would like a credit card which helps in doing this, but as you may have guessed i have a bad credit file.
I have 2 CCJ and a few late payments to vodafone on my file.
I have just tried to get a vanquis credit card and failed so is there anyother card I can try or is it just a waste of time with my bad file?
Please help!!!!!
